Steam and waterspray overpressure technology
Surdry invented during early 80´s the retort process system based
on the combination of steam and water spray with air overpressure (patented
in 1983). This new system allows the heat treatment (sterilisation,
pasteurisation, cooking) of foodstuffs in all type of rigid or flexible
containers, with important steam and water economy. The system
has become a retort processing standard recognised by the FDA (*) and other
organisations in many countries.
